Background: White spot lesions is a common untoward outcome in fixed orthodontic therapy that presents a challenge in obtaining esthetic excellence if left untreated. thus, the assessment of risk factors, adherence to proper oral hygiene measures, its prevention and management starting from the most conservative to invasive treatment depending on the severity of the lesion and patient desire of esthetics is an imperative part of fixed orthodontic therapy to achieve the required esthetics of the smile.
