Abstract

Background:  The ultimate biologic objective of endodontic therapy is the prevention of periradicular disease and the promotion of healing when disease is already established. The aim of this article is to describe the application of tactile-controlled activation (TCA) technique with files for the safer and more predictable instrumentation of severely curved and challenging canals.
