Background: Although there have been continuous advancements in the field of implantology, the rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla has proved too challenging because of the bone quality and quantity. The introduction of the long implants can be considered as a major milestone for the rehabilitation of the posterior maxillary region providing a less time-consuming option for the patient with successful results.
