Background: Maxillofacial osteomyelitis is not a very common condition encountered in the clinical practice owing to rich blood supply and is predominantly a disease of the mandible, whereas the maxilla by virtue of its vascularity and thin cortical plates is less frequently involved. The early diagnosis is key to the establishment of appropriate intervention. In reported case, multiple interventions were required with improvement in general condition as patient was immunocompromised due to pulmonary tuberculosis.
