Background: Occurrence of oral benign tumor below 6 month of age is a very rare occurring phenomenon. This case report presents a rare oral tumor in a 2 month old infant which was present in anterior maxilla and was causing difficulty in feeding. The lesion was surgically removed and histopathologically diagnosed as melanotic neuroectodermal tumor. A 6 month follow up showed no recurrence.
