Management of Pediatric Mandibular Fracture: A Case Report

Abstract


Background:  Mandibular  fractures  are  most  common  type  of  pediatric  trauma  out  of  which condylar fracture accounts for the most. Closed reduction still holds the key treatment for reduction of such fractures. In this case report a 3 year old girl was treated with closed reduction by gunning splint. The main aim of the treatment was to achieve the pre injury state of occlusion and functions.
