Abstract

Background:  Maintaining the treatment sequence and achieving the best result during orthodontic treatment is one of the most difficult aspects of the entire treatment process. Beginning from the bracket placement phase to the retention phase any error will affect the result and long-term stability. This article discusses the checklist which should be followed to achieve the optimum result. Orthodontic practitioners should be familiar with the sequence, correction and maintenance followed at each stage.
