Background: Youngsters who have caries in their deciduous teeth in earliest stages or toddlerhood tend to create dental caries in their perpetual dentition. In spite of the fact that hazard markers are useful in recognizing bunches at chance, they give little data about the reasons for contrast in caries experience.
