Abstract

 Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the newest fields in science and engineering. It refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines 
that are programmed to think like humans and mimic their actions. In modern times, the applications of AI include health care as well. The 
present review outlines the progress and potential dental applications of AI in diagnosis, treatment, and disease prediction and discusses its 
impact on dentists, with the objective of creating a support for future research in this rapidly expanding arena.
